Re: testing new font

Ahh, said the blind man, now I see. Thank you very much for all of your help. I had wondered about using Specials over Private Use Areas, now I know. I knew kerning would need work, that's why I was trying to test the font. Again, thank you.

testing new font

I've never had this problem before, but it could be because I have a new computer and just need to upgrade. I have recently finished a new font design, gotten all the glyphs loaded and went to test the font. I get the following error message; "Font is not valid, make sure all required Microsoft...

Re: Font, about 100 years old, survey map

I have something similar roughed-in in my design journal. Mine is based on an old sign & chart printers stamp set from the 1940's or 1950's.

You could also set up an e-commerce site and use pay pal, google pay or amazon pay to collect e-funds. Which is my plan.

Re: images split on loading into FC

Saved PDF as a png after fill in photoshop. It works!! Woohoo! Thank you! There are no PDF controls in AutoCAD unlike Photoshop. Again thank you! Now to get this baby finished.

Re: images split on loading into FC

What size did you export 0.pdf to jpg at? I'll change mine to match. Could be AutoCAD settings I'll check them. Yes, original AutoCAD file is outline, the intention was variations on the typeface without redrawing all the characters. Just change the fill in photoshop. Not to mention faster than colo...

images split on loading into FC

Lindisfarne.ttf Glyph was originally created in AutoCad, exported as pdf to photoshop, converted to jpeg. Hei...
