Re: Glyph mapping window disappears in X11
Yes, correct, Glyph Properties. It hides behind the main window on click. Hitting F3 twice will bring it back to front, but it doesn't register clicks, just hides again. Moving aside the main window lets me use it, but sometimes the MouseUp event doesn't register, so it sticks to the cursor. I'm gue...

Glyph mapping window disappears in X11
Hi, I run FCP 8 Standard under Mac OSX in Wine/X11. Most things work fine, except the Glyph mapping window tends to go missing. Sometimes it just hides way in the back, behind the main window, sometimes it just goes plain missing. Any ideas? Do you support this platform at all? If there's a better w...

InDesign not picking up space characters
Hi forum, I'm doing some repair and polish work on this free amateur font for a friend's publishing house. Since I mainly do handwriting fonts from scratch, I have little experience in TrueType bug hunting. Bhikkhu already helped me out with a problem with kerning tables, and I've also added naming,...

Re: Auto-order kerning pairs alphabetically
I can't, from memory. But I'll see if I can dig up an old version of the file and take it from there.

Auto-order kerning pairs alphabetically
Bhikkhu recently helped me fix broken kerning for a Truetype font on Mac. My kerning pairs weren't ordered alphabetically, which resulted in Mac apps simply ignoring them. It would seem it was as simple as that, since when I replaced the pairs with an ordered list Bhikkhu provided, it works again. T...

Re: MAC Version
Seriously, has anyone tried it on WinOnX? I highly doubt it will work. I'll be very happy if it does, though. +1 for Mac version, here. *EDIT* I just got it to run using Wine -- more specifically, the WineBottler combo (beta): http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/ I could register it and run it just fi...

Re: Kerning not used
Thanks for checking it out! :) Is that Windows or Mac, please? And do the umlaut kerning pairs work as well -- for instance Vå, Vä, Vö? The main thing is to get it working in Adobe CS on Mac OSX. I had the old, un-kerned version installed on the Mac before, uninstalled it via Font Book, and reinstal...

Kerning not used
Hi, long time user, long-ago poster, currently using FCP6.5 Pro. I have added some tweaks and missing bits to the creative commons font Gorey for a publishing house, but the kerning pairs don't seem to be picked up anywhere outside of the Preview window in Font Creator. Have tried in Notepad (Window...
