Re: alternate glyph

Re: Brahmic scripts

Indic scripts do require the OS/application shaping to be compliant/capable of these moderately complex ltr languages (there are more complex ltr scripts). So there are required features and glyphs a Unicode Indic script has to have so the OS and applications' shaping can occur. (Even Western text r...

Re: Squaresh but 1 rounded side

Hello Sandra,

I have a feeling Lanauco had their logo/wordmark made. That text form doesn't appear on their website as text anywhere. They use a different font on the website and their communications.

https://www.dafont.com/nouvelle-vague.f ... MAY+YOUR+K

Free for personal work, missing some/all digits, etc. Commercial version includes an reworked, expanded character set.

Likely there is a precedent. Likely a dry transfer like Letraset did.

Re: Sukhumala • A Graceful Font for Body text

Thanks for the feedback Mike. Did they mention anything about the innovative use of hlig for Roman Numerals? ... No, but hlig is one of the new features the video shows, but with the AA pair you included in the hlig feature. Petite caps is the 3rd new OT Feature added with this update, again using ...

Re: Sukhumala • A Graceful Font for Body text

Hi BP--I just watched a YouTube video from Quark for the new dot release of QXP and noticed they were using this font to demonstrate a couple of the new added OT Features (one of which is afrc). I've only recognized a few fonts by people I know in various TV shows, etc. It was pretty neat seeing the...

But I have a feeling the combination of calt being on by default + many/most applications having smart quotes enabled by default would prevent consisten...

I was going to report this today as well...

There should be a line of the tag color at the bottom of the opened glyph tab.

Re: Various improvements

Hi Erwin In the meantime I have a question to you and all graphic designers at High-Logic and here in the forum: How is your workflow if you have to choose some fonts for a project? And how satisfied are you with this workflow? Thanks a lot Stefan Hello Stefan, For myself, I tend to review fonts as...
