Re: Step by Step guide on how to convert photo's into COLR fonts.

Sorry about the delay in regards to your post my PC was in the shop fried video card. Getting back to the issue on hand I am currently re-writing the tutorial as the inkscape version new format has changed and makes the resulting code fail. Works fine with svg's that are created with 0.92 2017. 0.91...

Re: Composition modes

Ah indeed that would explain why I couldn't find the field when processing the TrueType which is fine.. I'll still make the files to explain the idea behind it maybe it will be of use to you should you decide to implement COLRv1 at one point.

I'll setup a github to share the results.

Re: Composition modes

I think multiple transparent color layers are combined using the multiply blend mode. Thanks for the quick response. I had tried that beforehand (with the transparency) I know for COLRv1 it exists the screen option unfortunately I couldn't find a code example that contains the main key setting to d...

Re: opentype zwnj problem

I see what you mean have you tried other fonts online with the same type of design to see if it's a global issue or specific to your font? I'm French, English speaking but if I have text examples I can try to find a solution for Chrome for Indesign unfortunately I do not have access to. Been pushing...

I have send the font file to Apple. I will keep you posted. P.s. not sure if you aware if this, but this forum is open to the world, so it might be wise to remove the link to the files. Or did you only grant access to me? Hi Erwin, I checked the link no need to worry it asks for a request for acces...

Re: "FontStruct" like mode?

Seriously you want a easy solution make a font on struct with all the glyphs separated and guess what you can use it on FontCreator xD and just fix your font so that the top and sides have no spaces and you then end up with your own struct design patterns, heck if I recall William had a nice base of...
