Re: The 30 day free trial offer
Hi Erwin Thank you for your reply. I notice that the price is stated as not including VAT (Value added Tax). I am not certain but I expect that that will mean an extra 20% on a purchase by someone in the United Kingdom. I know that the usual rate is 20% but it is 5% for some things such as energy (g...

The 30 day free trial offer
Hi Erwin
I am discussing fontmaking with someone.
I notice that you have the 30 day free trial offer.
Does that allow someone to export a font at all please?
Maybe just a few characters rather than a whole alphabet or something like that so as to learn?
Best regards,
William

Here is a link to a feature where I have used a special-purpose glyph in a font that I produced using FontCreator to produce a design. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/157030-thank-you-for-visiting/ Here is a link to a page that has a link to the font. http://www.users.globalnet.co....

A special purpose font applied to express teletext control characters
I have made a special font using FontCreator. I have used the liga facility to encode some sequences of characters as if they are ligatures so as to produce a way to encode a representation of the control characters of teletext. http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~ngo/a_teletext_control_codes_encoding...

Re: Produce Interface Designs
A discussion started yesterday in the Unicode public mailing list entitled Breaking barriers. https://corp.unicode.org/pipermail/unicode/2021-October/date.html It is about a development in automated language translating from images gathered from a camera on a mobile device. Thinking about it all, I ...

Joining two concentric circle contours
I am using FontCreator 8. I have two contours, a large circle clockwise and a smaller circle counterclockwise inside it, so as to produce a wide black ring glyph. I am trying to produce a 90 degree part of such a ring, so as to smoothly join a vertical wide black line to horizontal wide black line b...

Re: Some glyphs designed using FontCreator 7.5
I am hoping to develop the application of these glyph designs. Several computers later and I feared that I had lost the artwork. Yet fortunately I found from the linked thread that I had emailed to myself, copies of the .fcp project files. So I have recovered the second one, saved it as version 003 ...
