Re: Code tutorials ?

Cursive Example.png Here is an example of my own cursive font. Notice that the glyph changes when followed by an apostrophe or a capital letter or other symbol. This applies to all the glyphs in the alphabet. I plan to sell this font so I won't paste my code in the public forums. I'd be happy to PM...

Re: Kerning the second glyph in pair

Just following up,

I've found no easy way to mass kern the second pair in the kerning pair.

Is there any way to do this?

Blessings,

Re: Kerning the second glyph in pair

I'm aware of the find next option, unfortunately this doesn't save me much time. Is there no other way to mass select the second in the pair?

Thanks,

Kerning the second glyph in pair

I have two fonts which are very similar but for a change in some of the glyphs. I want to easily kern both the 1st glyph in the pairs as well as the 2nd glyph in the pairs. The 1st glyph is easy, I just open the code editor and copy and paste from one project to another. However the 2nd glyph is sca...

Error in compiling script not readable

When I compile script in the OT Designer I see a quick flash of a "warning" but it goes by too fast for me to read it. I tried removing the '}' at the end to freeze the compiling process at the end, but no warning shows up then. I've sent the project to Erwin. Is there a way for me to read this warn...

Finding Kerning Pairs that are Zero

I'd like to automatically find pairs in the opentype designer that have a zero value. Is there a way to find this quickly? Not counting trim.

Thanks,

Validation causing "wrong direction error"

When I validate my font my 'a' in the ordfeminie fills in the 'a'. I change the area in the 'a' to new direction which fixes it and makes it hollow but whenever I validate it fills it back in.

Advice?

Blessings,

Jonne

PS - Erwin, I have emailed you my font file

Re: Kerning not recognizing all subtables

Erwin,

It kinda makes sense. I'll avoid the problem by not making subtables as they are no longer necessary with the new version of FontCreator.

I really appreciate you looking into it and hope your study will benefit others!
