I'm in the Pair Adjustment dialog. Have a list of Kerning Pairs on the left. When I select one, there is an editable value under 'X-Advance' for the first letter. When I change that number, higher or lower, nothing happens to the letter pairs in either of the 'preview' windows. When I hit 'Apply' or...

Turns out it was the .notdef character - it looked normal but was somehow listed as a Max Advance Width of 62,465. Could not find what was making it that wide. I pasted in a .notdef from another family and it saved!

Can you clarify what you mean by 'advance width'?

This is actually a professionally produced font (Avant Garde DemiBold) that I am just renaming for menu purposes.

When trying to export a font I keep getting this message:

'Can't store this value'

I've tried all kinds of troubleshooting. The parameters/naming conventions of the font are the same as others in the same family, which had no issue. Anyone know what is causing this error message?

I went to Tools/Options/Import and changed all the Origin X and Origin Y values to 0 and it made no difference.

And 'Paste Special' isn't even an option (it is ghosted in the menu).

When I enter info into the fields under the 'Extended' tab under Font Properties and click OK, it DOES NOT SAVE THE INFO! I go back to Font/Properties, click on the 'Extended' tab and the fields are empty. I can't distinguish between fonts in a family like this. This did not happen with version 10.0...

I created a font family with four weights (Light, Regular, Bold, Heavy) and one 'Outline' (hollow) version of the Regular weight. However, I ended up installing the latest version of the program (NexusFont) and that fixed the problem!
