Re: Drag & Drop Samples

Thanks, Mr. Pesala, for listening and discussing - it's just what I wanted (I completely understand that ideas need to be flushed out and understood before they can be of any value - if they can be of value). I (would) use the samples panel to store commonly used shapes so I don't have to remake the...

Re: Newly Created Font Stays Italic In MainType

Yes, the fonts aren't very big. I'll send them in email to you. I'm probably doing something wrong, but for the life of me (and the last day or two) I can't solve it.

Newly Created Font Stays Italic In MainType

This is a problem I've spent all day long on and it's driving me crazy. I made a set of four fonts: Regular Italic Bold Bold Italic The primary font ALWAYS displays in MainType as Italic, although it's not italic at all. If I open the font in the Windows font viewer, you can see that it is regular. ...

Re: Drag & Drop Samples

Thanks - I wasn't asking for help though - I don't have a problem to solve - that's why I posted this in "Requests and Enhancements"!

Am I doing wrong to post here?

Re: How do I replace a font in the database with a newer ver

What happens when you are creating new fonts and installing new versions of those fonts. In order to only have the new version, you have to constantly ignore the old one. The list of ignored fonts gets rather lengthly. Is there a way to clear the list? That is, delete the ignored fonts permanently a...

Fonts with red circles

In my list of fonts, there are about 30 or so in the Active Fonts list that have red spheres next to them. In the context menu, "install" and "uninstall" are grayed out. They are not listed in MT's registry errors list nor in MT's invalid font resources list. They are all ttf and otf fonts. They don...

Re: Drag & Drop Samples

I know it uses an existing font. Perhaps there could be a way for FC to import the dragged vector pattern. Dragging and dropping is much more intuitive than opening another font file. Right now, if you want to edit the sample font, you have to go find it in the file system, which is not nice on your...

Re: Allow Non-Modal Validation Results

Yes, it was mentioned there in that thread, but the modal-ness of the particular thread entry was not really the topic of discussion. Drag & Drop Samples

The Samples panel is a very handy window where we can store our most-used and favourite shapes. We can drag things out of that panel onto our workspace. It would be nice if we could drag new samples INTO that panel. And we should be able to delete things in that panel too by pushing delete and click...

Checkbox for Bold Transformation Naming

When we run the glyph transformer, for italic, there is a checkbox for automatically adjusting the naming for italics - but this is missing for bold. And I think both effects should offer the option of automatically setting the subfamily property. Actually, the "italic" function does offer it, but d...
