FontCreator does 'fix' mappings on opening a font, but never deletes or reorders glyphs by it self.

So I'm puzzled about what happened, but we never intent to break things

Do you only use FontCreator 7.5 or do you also use other software?

This is how I do it with FontCreator 7.5.0.512:
- Open a glyph edit window
- Click the Color mode toolbar button, on the left side of the zoom buttons
- Click a color on the Palette toolbar
- Click on a part of the glyph

To go back to monochrome, just select Color mode again. There is also a toolbar icon near the zoom icons.

From the View menu, select Color mode.

Right now the switch between monochrome and color isn't very obvious. As always we'll make sure we have enough food for enhancements and new features.
