Re: Problems with ttf fonts and Bitstream

We are not familiar with BitStream Font Fusion, but since version 2.4 was released in 2003 I suspect it can't handle more recent versions of the font specification (even though the specification was released before 2003!). If this is indeed a compatibility issue, then it is best to upgrade Font Fusi...

Re: .notdef is gone!

FontCreator does 'fix' mappings on opening a font, but never deletes or reorders glyphs by it self.

So I'm puzzled about what happened, but we never intent to break things :?

Re: .notdef is gone!

Do you only use FontCreator 7.5 or do you also use other software?

Re: Changing a colour later

This is how I do it with FontCreator 7.5.0.512:
- Open a glyph edit window
- Click the Color mode toolbar button, on the left side of the zoom buttons
- Click a color on the Palette toolbar
- Click on a part of the glyph

What part of this process fails on your side?

Re: Changing a colour later

William, I know you have good intentions, but can you please stick to the point, and stop providing irrelevant information, as this way it takes too much time to read through your posts. At the time I've read your post, I don't even remember what support your want  I have colorized a glyph, but...

Please don't YELL at us; we are here to help but we know most people refuse to help if a user is rude or seems frustrated. Also next time if you have a new issue, please start a new topic. That will help us and other users to identify which topics to read. Kerning is a process that can indeed take h...

Re: Version 6 and 7.0 Arabic Fonts

I'm afraid this is caused by the fact FontCreator 6 just kept the tables related to OpenType layout features unchanged, and FontCreator 7 processes them, so you can edit them, and export the changes back into the modified font file. One thing missing in that process is full GPOS support, and I suspe...

Re: Import Entire Alphabet at Once

I'm sorry to hear your not getting along with FontCreator. We've tried to make it intuitive, but sometimes people want specific complex features, that might already exist, but can't be found. I'm convinced our software is more powerful that you've discovered so far. You can simply import a single im...

To go back to monochrome, just select Color mode again. There is also a toolbar icon near the zoom icons.

Re: Font Colours Not Being Applied in Windows XP

From the View menu, select Color mode.

Right now the switch between monochrome and color isn't very obvious. As always we'll make sure we have enough food for enhancements and new features.
