Re: Advanced Fractions
It took more effort in earlier versions since we had to write the code ourselves.
My Previous Thread may be the most relevant. Precomposed fractions refers to the fractions in Number Forms. More complex fractions can be generated from numerators and denominators.

Re: Advanced Fractions
After you have added the required fraction glyphs, which should have the standard Unicode names, in the OpenType Features dialogue, click the icon at top left to generate features. In the Generate and Update OpenType Features dialogue, click the All button twice to clear all checkboxes, then enable ...

I don't use Word, and though I might be able to open the file in LibreOffice, since your free download is only once every two hours, I skipped it.

Re: Copy a glyph from a character to another
With the Home Edition, copying the accents to create composite glyphs (accented glyphs like Á, À, etc.)
To speed things up, copy several glyphs, then delete those that are not needed.

Re: modify copy of glyph
You obviously don't understand the issue. Exporting the glyph to a vector graphics program to edit it will not help. Font contours are either fully opaque or fully transparent, as in the zero 0: the outer contour is opaque (black) and the inner contour is transparent (white). Block drawing glyphs ca...

Re: forum link mistake
I can confirm the issue. The correct link to the forum is shown at the bottom of the FAQ page, but it should be at the top of the support page too.

Re: modify copy of glyph
The fill opacity is just for display purposes to make editing more comfortable. It has no effect on the font's contours. It is a UI setting.

Re: modify copy of glyph
Open the glyph in a glyph edit window and tell us how many contours there are. If there is only one contour, you will have to use the knife tool to cut it into five. Fonts don't support 50% transparency. Contours are usually black with a black fill, or a black outer contour with a reversed inner con...

Try using Required Ligatures (rlig) instead of Standard Ligatures.

Re: Spinner Controls
One can change side-bearings directly by dragging them.
I think it would lead to too many errors if one did not have to click on Apply to accept the changed values.

From the Tools menu, select Glyph names... Generate
That adds user-friendly glyph names for the entire font.
