Currently AutoNaming picks up the information from the Metrics tab in the font settings. In Adobe InDesign when selecting a value you don't actually have to put your mouse in the value and physically select it. If you just click on the name of the value (for example click "Left side" under bearings) and it will automatically select the whole value and then you can type in what...

It would be nice to have the ability to copy glyph outlines, but still keep the bearings values of the destination glyph.

Would it be enough to just have someone with FontLab regenerate the fonts? I am going to be having a lot of these kind of fonts, so if FontLab won't do it I'll wait until I have all of them to send it to you.

I have a font that I customized with FC and VOLT. It is a OT TT font. I sorted the glyphs, did some editing, and added OT tables plus many glyphs. Nevermind, it seems to be working now. The problem is I was trying to use Auto-naming and it kept changing it back to regular. When I named it manually it worked.

How do I make a medium font. Under Format>Settings>Metrics>Font style there is no option for medium, and when I set it to regular it doesn't recognize it as a different font than my regular version.

Oh, I'm pasting from one font to the next. Is there any way to preserve hinting?

When I paste glyphs from one font to the next does that remove hinting?

I see there's a capital H on the original font, but when I paste it into the new font the H is missing.
