Assigning tags not working
I looked for a solution before posting here. "The Font Tags panel allows you to quickly add one or more tags to the current selected font(s). To add a tag to a font, simply click on the balls to the left, or select one or more tags and use the toolbar buttons or the context menu to add or remov...

Thank you.

Re: Font Information Panel-Maintype8 Professional
Thank you for the quick response. I have a lot to learn. Yes, I see Century Schoolbook in my WINDOWS\Font folder, I was looking for C:WINDOWS\Fonts\SCHLBKB. I'm not sure how it shows up with a different name. When I resize the column the file name is still truncated; is there a way to show the full ...

Font Information Panel-Maintype8 Professional
I have a question regarding the Resources>File section of the Font Info Panel (see attached). The font Century Schoolbook Bold indicates that it is also in the C:\Windows\Font folder, but I have looked there and I don't see it. The only location of the font is on my desktop in a FONTS folder. Can so...

Removing Groups
Hello, I have just started to organize my fonts in MainType 7 Professional and want them to match the fonts in File Explorer. I now have duplicate groups. How do you remove a group so that the fonts match up with the fonts in File Explorer? I would like to start over and remove all groups. Thank you...

Re: List of fonts
Thank you so much, the list was very helpful. I will keep all the fonts on the list (including the foreign fonts) which I presume shouldn't be moved? I'll also keep all the Adobe fonts (for use in Adobe products). Then there are 11 WP fonts (multinational) which I think might have been used with Wor...

Re: Calculating # of fonts
Thank you.
So, the last fonts added to the MainType Libary (50) don't really calculate into the total fonts available. These are just an indication of which fonts (50) were added last to the Library?

Thank you for your screenshot, that always helps. I'm still at a loss; I have included a screenshot showing my fonts folder. All the fonts are "SHOW" none are "HIDE".

Re: MainType 4.5 on new PC using Windows7
I did a search and I don't appear to have Windows Fonts Explorer. I went online and it looks like I can download it. However, why would I need it when I have MainType? It says Windows Fonts Explorer lets you manage, test and install fonts. I checked properties on my C:Windows>Fonts folder and there ...
