On my system the Calibri fonts open just fine in FontCreator.

Can you please provide more information about the way you open the fonts, and what exact error message you see?

If the problem persists after a full uninstall, it might be a bug.

A full uninstall will do the trick.

Zoom is only broken in glyphs mode.

I suspect it has to do with the gasp table, as that controls gray scale to some extend.

I agree this is not intuitive, and it should be fixed asap.

I suspect Windows is trying to load the fonts, before it has been able to connect the drive.

If you continue to have this problem, do let us know and we'll further look into this issue.

I've removed the font file from our forum, as it seems it is a modified version of Calibri, and I don't think Microsoft allows us to distribute their fonts, original or not.

That font is corrupt. Do contact the font vendor and ask for a valid font file.

I will look into this, and will let you know if we can come up with a solution.

Do post a screenshot of your about box as it contains valuable information that will help us understand the issue.

This is an issue when you show the characters in glyphs mode. You can toggle back to Character mode by clicking the "G" icon in the Characters pane.
