I made this week my three years old template editor to be Scanahand 3 compatible. The editor is here . And it's result here . I made own editor because Scanahand's original templates have only a little sample letter in caption, so it's hard to imagine where to draw letter vertically and in what size...

Guidelines have some problem:
- Caption bottom line is colored by Baseline Color (Light Blue). It should be Black.
- Descender line is colored by Baseline Color (Light Blue). It should be Light red.

If I print multipage template, I can print all pages at once, but when loading template, I have to load all pages separately, which is very timeconsuming. For those who wish to get really involved in font creating should be using the High-Logic Flagship Font Creator . FontCreator has many features but there is not Scanahand like batch scan property or outline improver or simplifier (is there?). So if the tracing fails or the result is not satisfactor...

I think of Scanahand as a SIMPLE easy way for people to get involved in making fonts. The more complicated it becomes, the further it gets from its intended purpose.
