Re: Help Identifying font. Please HELPPP!
Hi Daniel,
It's pretty close to (ITC) Serif Gothic (Std) Roman/Regular, apart from the 6 and 9 not having serifs and the 'tail' of the 1 being much too long.

Re: Producing a colourized glyph using FontCreator 7.5.0
I am happy to try to add some images made from Print Screen images. However, as the screen display changes so many times during the tutorial, are there any particular images that you would particularly like to be posted? I would have thought that you could simply take a screenshot for each step, or...

Re: Import Entire Alphabet at Once
I think you could sell more font creation program if it is more easy to use. Your FontCreator app reminds me of a microwave oven which has a ton of features that most people generally know about, but never use, as long as there is a minute + button and a popcorn button on a microwave it gets most o...

[FIXED] Typo in Error Message
When I tried to open the file 'Logicol.fcp' which I downloaded from this thread , I got an error message because I hadn't updated from 7.0.1.458 to 7.5.0.508. As you can see from the attached screenshot, the error message says 'openend' instead of 'opened'; if I press 'No', I get a further error box...

I presume that you aren't asking how to take a screenshot!William wrote:How was the upper image produced please?
If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, installing the Font Properties Extension from Microsoft Typography will provide you with the extra tabs in the Properties dialog.

Re: Kerning doesn't work
Although there is nothing wrong with the font file (technically speaking), it seems Microsoft Word refuses to process any kerning from the kern table if it detects one or more of the glyphs within a kern pair is not mapped to a Unicode character. I realize such pair is not useful for Word, but I re...

Re: Unable to Find Glyph $09F8
Searching for "#$9F8" finds me the glyph with glyph index #$09F8, searching for "$9F8" finds me the glyph at code point $09F8 and searching for "9F8" finds me any glyphs with the character sequence 9F8 in the glyph name. I wouldn't expect a search for "#9F8" t...

Re: Turkish Lira Currency Symbol
I think I would write it with a varying stroke weight, like the pound sign in that font. In that particular case there is no question about the upward curve of the bottom stroke, but point taken!Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:How would you write it with a calligraphic pen, for a font like Embassy Script?

Turkish Lira Currency Symbol
I meant to ask about that when I first saw your other thread. Shouldn't the bottom stroke, as part of a half anchor, be a quarter circle?Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:I recently added the Turkish Lira to my fonts

Re: Vertical Positioning of Baseline
so that worked more or less for the spacing (thanks again), now I've got missing characters(in this example ":" and some elongated "-" don't know what else throughout the font). Could you have accidentally deleted some of the glyphs? Open the font in FontCreator, press Ctrl+F to...
