Re: Social Font Project
@Erwin Denissen Was away for a few days family business, absolutely I'll get right on working on that my kickstarter project didn't work as expected but why waste the technique might as well let others enjoy using it. And your right Firefox 32 now accepts theses fonts heck I might even make one so t...

Re: Social Font Project
@Bhikkhu Pesala Well my project is not getting any hits which is exactly what I expected as it's something that has not grown in the past year of popularity due to the fact that there wasn't a real purpose for it. I'll have a guide ready for you if you want it in about 2 weeks of all the steps and t...

Special Words or Phrases in relation to font building.
Long time ago I fell upon a website that mentioned key words and phrases that we're great to use for creating fonts with a natural feel unfortunately I can't remember where I had found such a list and I was wondering if someone here had seen them or might still have them archived?

Re: Font used on top of each glyph box
That's what I figured that I was going to do is to just rebuild with a blank and setup a array for where the glyph's would go in order. I'll give PDF-XChange a shot see the ease elsewise I'll just use imagemagick and just map a blank png as I already built a database with all the possibilities via d...

Re: Font used on top of each glyph box
I was trying to get the GNU Unifont as the layout chart for Scanahand as I wanted something more as a novelty font for some people I know and arriving with a stack of 600 sheets and getting them to fill it out for their holiday gift would be priceless. Also the main reason why I wanted to get as muc...

Re: Font used on top of each glyph box
For hard wired it definitely is from what I can see as for the font tried the one you mentioned didn't change the results guess I'll have to go through the list and see what I can find if I can pull it off. Should it work I'll have a complete template of all the unicodes to upload here this way arti...

Re: Abstract emoji as applied modern art
@William Well using the technique that I was working on converting photo's into glyph's I'm sure that even using something like a face generator http://flashface.ctapt.de/ or taking modern art and coverting it into fonts can reproduce marvelous works the major key though is the choices of colors I'v...

Font used on top of each glyph box
Mark your calendars as this is a rare occasion, I'm officialy stumped on this problem. How do I change the font that is used with Scanahand to display what character should be drawn? I don't care if I have to rename arial at this point or any other font to pull this off. I've searched everywhere inc...

Re: Could a future version of Scanahand support colour fonts
@Alfred Your going to owe me sleep on this one =) I just figured out that what I could do is split the layers keep the black and another color to make each individual glyph as long as I don't use black for the inside drawings (Your the one who game me the idea when you asked your question about the ...

Re: Could a future version of Scanahand support colour fonts
@Alfred For the scanner if you use the distinct colors such as Blue Red Green Black Cyan Magenta Yellow (darker one not the pale) and good ol black (and white for seperations) most scanners will work fine for reading theses as they have a unique color id. (I'm not using them as a mix sorry for the c...
