Apple does not have a Unicode Encoding ID as Microsoft does. Therefore Mac computers rely on Platform ID 0 (Unicode) for doing Unicode fonts as the primary source for their cmap table.

Times New Roman includes mappings for the Unicode, Macintosh and Microsoft platform.

Could you be more specific, what characters are not visible? Did this occur after you modified the font or are using the Font Creator Program to fix this problem?

The TrueType font file specification tells us that contours that need to be filled black must have a clockwise direction. Currently there is no such feature. You could try to copy and paste the glyphs into another font that does have correct Microsoft table data.
