Here's the latest from 1950 of just kerned font

I only had that checked the day I sent you the file. Otherwise since it's been unchecked. There just seems to be something different between 1950 and 1970 that causing problems. IDK.

Installed with ignore base glyphs unchecked but still no joy, what am I doing wrong?

Good tip, i do that sometimes but not for the project at hand. The cursive kerning can't be changed like that. So you can be sure I don't touch bearings.

Ps - Did you shut down the program in the process you took? That could be an issue. It'smy suspician.

Sorry to be stubborn on this one but I'm not surprised that if you simply just follow those simple steps there won't be a problem...I do a few kerning with other pairs and other work. I'm trying desperately to find a way to recreate this problem for you to make it apparent that I'm getting sometimes...

I have tried all the permutations of the new update 9.1 as soon as i could hoping for a fix. But alas...no joy.

I'm trying my hand at a cursive font, but the kerning has to be precise and can't be autokerned...so I've slaved for 6 months 24/7 working on kerning. Erwin and Mike, I think i sussed out the problem of the duplication of pairs. You mentioned that you can't have duplicate glyphs, not only did I have one, but I also had duplicate number names for my tails. I remedied this deleted all the duplicate names (those sneaky numbers), and tried class kerni...

Update,

I deleted some of the triplicates, applied and saved. Then I came back to it and one of the triplicates had returned...no class kerning was involved just some deletion of a few kerning pairs.
