[CLOSED] Exception in Glyph Transformer with '.' rather than ','
I mistakenly used a "." (full stop aka period) instead of a "," (comma) to separate code points in the Override Range by Code Point(s) Glyph Transformation, and got an exception (and no clue as to the cause). Don't know if it affects other list-oriented Glyph Transforms. I did tr...
Re: Rune font
That's the Old South Arabian script in Unicode ... here's the chart: https://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U10A60.pdf. I am including these characters in a pan-Unicode font I am working on, but have a single source for the glyphs - the Hanazono font. The glyphs are similar in style to what you can see ...

Re: Space Width for x-height Petite Capitals
Right. Thanks for the clarification.
In my own work, I do have times when I have sentences in Alt caps, which is why I include an alt space. I guess in the end we build our fonts the way we ourselves would use them ...

Space Width for x-height Petite Capitals
Interesting that it appears from Bhikkhu's sample of Small / Petite caps that he is including $0020 in the set of alt caps ... is that true? I have started doing that in my fonts (on the grounds that the standard-width space looks completely odd between petite caps), but was really unsure about whet...

Re: Stylistic sets v Character Variants in open type
How do you access stylistic sets in word notepad or coreldraw? From CorelDraw X8: Select an Artistic or Paragraph Text item Menu Text => Text Properties (control-T). This will place a docking panel on the right side. In that docking panel: Expand the first, "Character" section In the midd...
Re: Rune font
Nice letterforms! And I cannot locate another font that has this straightforward style for Runic.
Would you consider releasing this under the SIL Open Font License? ... http://scripts.sil.org/OFL. ... or possibly another open-source license?

Re: Can Anchors be Scaled or Bulk-modified?
Possibly a note in the manual to "Consider (re-)running Tools => AutoKern if you apply font-wide or large-scale Glyph Transformations that involve Position, Move, Rotate, ...". Users might not notice that GPOS kerning is still using the pre-scaled values in, for example, a Glyph Transforma...

Re: Can Anchors be Scaled or Bulk-modified?
Caveat: The issue should not really concern most FontCreator (FC) users . I am working on this because I often scale and italicize fonts that already have anchors and extensive OpenType directives defined that use anchors and have kerning information I wish to keep. (I also manipulate fonts outside...

Re: Text in Windows Font Settings Tool
Use caution, however, to used only code points in your sample text that are mapped in your font. I have many multi-language fonts and accidentally used my typical sample text with multiple languages in a font that only had Basic Latin. Got bizarre results and was confused for a long time before I ra...

Can Anchors be Scaled or Bulk-modified?
Is there a way to scale anchors in FontCreator? I can't seem to find any way to automatically re-locate anchors along with Glyph Transformations. I'm thinking an option such as [X] Scale Anchors on the Scale() Glyph Transform primitive would be great. Only other way I can think of handling this is t...

Re: My First Complete Font by using FontCreator 13
Nice looking font! I don't know Arabic, so I really can't comment on the layout features ... but I'm comparing it again Amiri and the Noto fonts. Might you consider adding the license terms into the file itself (Font => Properties => Legal)? You mentioned " Freeware " but there is nothing ...
