Re: Serif / Sans listed incorrectly
There is a weight column. You can sort your fonts by weight: Thin, Extra Light, Light, Semi-light, Normal, Medium, Semi-bold, Bold, Extra-bold, Black.

You have not enabled the Terminal Forms (fina) feature. Both fina and hist need to be enabled.

Re: Historical and Discretionary Ligatures
You have the right idea. You just need to add an entry to Terminal Forms (fina) for longs > s; and the Historical Forms must precede Terminal forms in the OpenType script. Re: I'm freaking out
The usual order is accent first followed by the base glyph to type a composite glyph with the accent.
àèìòù or ãõñ etc.
What happens when you type using the font in an application like Word depends on the Windows keyboard that you select in Settings.

Re: Kern all my fonts
Open the list of kerning pairs in the Code Editor, and copy the list of pairs.
Paste the list of pairs to replace the list of pairs in another font. Do a syntax check, and rerun Autokern on the pair adjustments lookup so that the kerning suits the different glyphs of the other font(s).

Re: How to Change the Font Metrics?
The font metrics are calculated from the glyphs in the font.
Use the font information dialog to locate the glyphs with the highest WinAscent and lowest WinDescent.
CapsHeight is calculated from Capital H.
x-height is calculated from lowercase x.

I moved this topic to support, as it looks like a problem with understanding the glyph alignment feature.

Re: Create font over existing with specific parameters
Use the Glyph Transformer to change the width by 103%
That will also increase the stroke width. It is hard to guess how 0.03mm converts to funits, but use the bold or thin transformations to modify stroke width.

The question is, “Why does Scanahand produce contours with incorrect direction?”
One should not need to install another software package to fix bugs in Scanahand.

You would need to paste the text with formatting, not as plain text.

Re: Exclude a symbol or letter from bold
In the bold version of your font, symbols can be the same for both Regular and Bold versions, with the other glyphs being bold for the bold version.
