Script fonts seem to be particularly resistant to identification by automatic means. A font installation can fail because the font file is corrupt, but if FontCreator says that the font is already installed, then that must be the reason for the failure. What version of Windows do you have, and how are you performing the search? If I go to the Windows Fonts folder on this Win7 system...

The decimal version of the code-point value would be more useful to me than the hexadecimal version, especially where the glyph name is already something like 'uni2603'. Where do you change this? I couldn't see anything under 'Tools > Options'.
