Re: CAP Height Metric Location in TTF File
DTL's OTMaster. There's a free version. I use it for a couple of reasons having to do when I was helping a company implement some features in their software having to do with fonts.

Re: CAP Height Metric Location in TTF File
The x and cap heights are listed in the table right after the code page listing which appears is where your's stops. At least with the tool I am using that is where they are found...

Re: Appreciate help identifying this font
Closest I can find is a font named "Harry Fatt" published by ITC.
There is an Opti version of that font located here:
http://opti.netii.net/fonts-r/index.htm
Scroll down to "Rocky" and there are three styles. The fatest one is "Rocky Blimp."

Re: Whats this font for a client
Gerber is the name of the company that produces (among other things) equipment and software for the sign industry. I had to look it up again. Their name for the font is "Marker Acct" and is only available from them. In any case, it wasn't the "exact" match I thought it was. Marke...

Re: Whats this font for a client
Gerber has it as another name and it matches exactly. I cannot recall the name at the moment. It was only available through them.

Ah, a happy ending. Thanks for the update.
It boggles me that any company would adhere to legacy file naming in 2015 for reading fonts (much less anything else).

Re: Export selected glyph names
Perhaps a "recycling" of the Paste Special dialog where one can choose what to export just like for pasting?

Re: Letter combination?
Interesting language. I had never heard of it before, so thanks! In a brief poke around the web I understand that Windows 8 and above have added the characters into the Segoe UI font. There are unicode code points for the language since 2009. If I were tasked for this, I think that without modifying...

Re: Can Fonts Be save as only a TTF font
PT, Does the Gerber application still require that TTF fonts be converted to their own proprietary format? There use to be an included utility to do the conversion. And there use to be a very specific folder where the fonts needed to reside in order for the application to see and use them. But that ...

Export selected glyph names
I would like the ability to export selected glyph names to a text file, or even to the clipboard. If there is a means, I couldn't find it. Current font has 248 pre-built ligatures comprised of two and three characters. The current method of adding ligatures or other glyph replacements is a slow, cli...

Re: Can Fonts Be save as only a TTF font
Delete the text path/filename from the export options. With the settings as indicated, when you export choose ttf from the drop down in the export dialog. Once in a while it will try to still keep the otf extension. You should be able to see that happen when the filename is then populated in the exp...
