Hello EzJay, Now when I create a new font using Font Creator it wants me to upload a different picture for every single character. This means I have to copy every character out of the bmp, create a new .bmp for it, then import it into the Font Creator Program. That seems like a lot of unescesary wor...

Drag and Drop from Explorer to FontCreator
FCP 4.5 has some excellent new features available and one which would be desirable would be an extension to the drag and drop images facility from an Explorer type Window into FCP Overview Window. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-11/69859/MultDragnDrop.jpg The ability to drag and drop a batch of ...

I am still puzzled by this. Could you possibly explain the reason for this movement happening please and the implications of turning it off? This option can be turned off without ill effect but apparently it is good practice to have the left-bearing extent-line set to x=0 for all glyphs in a font. ...

Hello Chris, You need to adjust top and bottom bearing-extent-lines (black, solid, horizontal lines). Go to: Format -> Settings -> Windows tab and experiment by adjusting Win Ascent and Win Descent values; but see Erwin Denissen's full discussion on the subject at: http://forum.high-logic.com/viewto...

Hello Jim, A possible solution is that you have made a font which is not complete with all the alphabetic characters. Word requires the characters of the name, to be present as glyphs in the font. For example if the font name is MyfontBI the glyphs 'M' 'y' 'f' 'o' 'n' 't' 'B' and 'I' all have to be ...

FCP Updates
I've just had a look at: http://www.high-logic.com/fcphistory.html to refresh my memory. I'm astounded at what improvements have been made since I upgraded from FCP3. When I consider what I obtained, and the work entailed in making those improvements, I am beginning to feel guilty that I paid only $...

Hello Nives, This is a very frequent question which is answered in: http://forum.high-logic.com/viewtopic.php?t=562 If you had used the Search facility at the top of the Forum opening Window and entered the word 'import' you could well have found that and other posts on the subject. The import facil...
