Re: font ligature problem

I don't know, but I think in Office 2013 you might have to enable open type features in the options, it is off by default.

Re: MMFF fonts

The site looks good but I think it would be helpful to have an English language version, and perhaps a little button somewhere to switch between the two versions.

Re: Please help me identify this font from the Bergen Assembly website

I think the capital M which sometimes appears is the script M from the Letterlike Symbols block.

Re: Please help me identify this font from the Bergen Assembly website

The website is a mess. Looks like an ordinary sans serif font but they happen to have randomly replaced some basic latin characters with characters from the Letterlike Symbols unicode block. For instance the blackletter R which keeps appearing, the script l and the 'per' symbol instead of a l...

Re: Box Drawing & Block Elements Unicode Blocks

Thankyou for your kind words. It was started in January 2015 and finished (unless somebody finds more errors) in April 2016. If you are interested the story of its creation is in the fontlog file. Bhikkhu Pesala let me have the Geometric Shapes, Arrows, Dingbats Miscellaneous Symbols and a few other...

Maybe it could be an option to set which tag you want to use for this purpose.

Re: Kelvinch - a font for body text.

I didn't want to produce a version 3.3 so I called it version 3.21 instead. It now has the curved crossbar on the capital A as a stylistic alternative and I put in the historic ligatures which I had intended to add but had totally forgotten about until now. I think it is complete now, until someone ...

Re: Kelvinch - a font for body text.

I didn't think of that. Oh dear, does this mean I must produce a version 3.3 ? :o Font editing is never finished, but unless there's a serious bug any changes can wait until you feel the urge to make them. It's just a hobby — don't make it into a burden. Don't worry, that post had it's tounge very ...

Re: Kelvinch - a font for body text.

On Font Squirrel the users don't upload their fonts, the people who run Font Squirrel select the fonts they want to have on their site. I sent them an e-mail to say that it had been updated but they haven't got the new version yet. I didn't put it up there and I was surprised when I found it on Font...

Re: Kelvinch - a font for body text.

Kelvinch has now been updated to version 3.2 which is now up on Deviant Art . I think I've fixed all the problems (but then I thought that on 3.1), I have altered several things and added open type features to handle Cyrillic italics for Macedonean and Serbian which are different from normal Cyrilli...

Re: A question about the IJ digraph

OK, so I've done the Serbian and Macedonian italics (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_Cyrillic_alphabet ) which are different from normal cyrillic italics so now I'm up for tackling the IJ digraph. What I need is some rules as to what occurs when and what sequences of characters should be t...
