Yes, every few minutes, "High-Logic Font management Service" spikes to anywhere between ~5% to ~20% of CPU. It's not consistent in the amplitude of the spike, but the spikes consistently occur every few minutes.

Hi again Erwin - I resorted to running Process Lasso (https://bitsum.com) to ratchet the Font Management Service CPU usage down, but of course I would prefer to not have to run a resource-using 3rd-party utility just to control the Font Management Service. I would prefer the scrolling to work even when panels are docked.

Currently, scrolling (with mouse wheel, for example) only works for the panel that is highlighted / in focus. I would like to be able to move the cursor over various parts of the MainType interface and scroll whatever panel the cursor is hovering over, without having to first click to focus the panel.

Yes, I saw that the fonts can be exported, renamed as the font name from metadata. It would be nice to have more control over the result (appends; concatenation of metadata; etc.) to make this a full renaming feature.

I agree with the original request.

I really enjoy that a character can be copied directly, or as an image, from the Characters panel.

I would also like to be able to copy a character as a vector image. (Copying vector with design points would be a bonus.) This would be an incredible timesaver in certain design situations.
