Deleting the code pages for Asian fonts solves the problem, but it doesn't explain why the calculate function is broken on my installation.
Is it also broken on yours if you calculate code pages for the attached Talapanna Regular.ttf ?

Re: Some Character Sets are Rotated
Someone pointed me to this thread, but the problem is that calculating code pages is adding the wrong pages.

Some Character Sets are Rotated
My latest version of Talapanna, exhibits a strange bug in Jarte, Wordpad, and PagePlus. Some character sets, but not all are rotated by 90°
In font drop lists the name is shown as
@Talapanna
which is normally used for Asian fonts.
What is causing this odd behaviour?

Re: Guru Update
There is a link to the TrueType Viewer in the tutorial thread — Adding OpenType Features . It is a free utility useful for testing that OpenType features are working as intended. Read the tutorial thread, examine the attached script "Guru.txt" used by OpenType Compiler to convert Guru *.tt...

Re: Adding OpenType features
The ordinals feature requires a contextual lookup. It should use superscripts for letters that follow a digit. English only uses 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc., but French requires 1ème, and Irish uses a superscripted ú for all ordinals. The digits may be followed by one or more letters that should be sup...

Re: Guru Update
I designed the font for Buddhist publications, but how you use it is entirely up to you.
I have updated the attachment to the previous post. The ordinals feature now works for all the superscripts needed for ordinals that I know of. You can test with the TrueType viewer to see how it works.

Re: Windows: double click font name
Have you tried uninstalling the font, reinstalling it, and rebooting your PC?
If that doesn't work, attach the font here for testing.

Re: Font that write phrases
This is possible by using OpenType features. See the Rebus Script Font which converts several letters into a picture. One letter to several letters is also possible. FontCreator doesn't yet support OpenType Features, but you can add them easily enough using OpenType Compiler . See the tutorial Addin...

Re: All caps italic font
SSI software apparently went out of business because they were sued by Adobe for copyright infringement, so using SSI fonts will put you in the same position if they are just forged copies of Adobe fonts. Look for fonts released under GNU license that you can modify to suit your own needs. Perhaps ...

Re: Font Colorization
You did already reply to it, but posts of new users have to be approved before they appear. As far as I know there is no font type that includes colour information. Most applications have the ability to add colour for lines and fills, including gradient and bitmap fills. http://www.aimwell.org/Fonts...

Re: Font Colorization
You can have any colour you want in fonts, as long as its black. You cannot even have white in a font — what looks like white is transparent. After creating the font in FontCreator, you will need to export each symbol from another program like InkScape or DrawPlus, to get it into a vector format lik...

Re: Bug in editing of kerning values?
I wouldn't call that a bug — its just the way that most edit controls work. They won't update unless you press enter, tab, or some other key to commit the value. By far the quickest method is to add all the pairs you need then use the shortcuts in the list of pairs to adjust the kerning values. http...

Indian Rupee Design
The Indian Rupee Sign has been added to Unicode Currency Symbols. Indian Rupee.png I have edited CompositeData.xml to add a definition for it. If the character is mapped to hexadecimal codepoint 20B9 (decimal 8377) in your font, this code (in the Professional Edition only) will combine the initial ...
