Re: Some MTPro V8.0.0.1124 64Bit questions--Glyphs and "Library"

If you have ever used Typograf (the paid version--I have no idea if the free version also has it), the properties dialog contains a TON of information about the font itself. See screenshot for an example, from ACaslonReg. They really ought to proofread their dialogs and fix silly typos like “WidhtC...

Re: InDesign plug-in shows empty window

Perhaps if you were to add some text stating that there are currently no options available, it would reassure users that nothing is wrong.

The Mercury, Venus and Mars symbols are considerably farther apart in the second grouping.

Re: Font issue in Word 2016

Now suppose however that one wants a font whereby one can type an E on the keyboard and on the screen appears a picture of, say, a daffodil. There is nothing to stop anyone making such a non-standard font. Such fonts can be useful in some situations. But that is non-standard! This is where a Symbol...

Re: Font Information Panel-Maintype8 Professional

I think SCHLBKB.TTF is the full file name in your case, Irene. I only have the regular style of that font, but my copy bears the even more cryptic file name 'tt0083m_.ttf'; I suspect that Bhikkhu Pesala renamed his copy for ease of recognition.

Re: Checksum Hash for Download Files

I've never relied on checksums for security. They can be useful for identifying a download as corrupt or incomplete, but if the file is digitally signed there will be a Digital Signatures tab in the Properties dialog, and you can check there to see if the signature is OK.

It certainly isn’t Arial. It looks more like Helvetica, but it isn’t that either.

About 30 seconds of searching on the internet turned up this image of a different issue.

The font is reproduced at a better resolution.

I found that one, too, but I still couldn’t identify the font. :(

That detail seems to be pretty much the only distinguishing feature in your font sample! :o

If you’re unsure how to proceed, I suggest that you contact the font designer to ask for clarification of the licensing conditions. His email address is: wiegel(at)peter-wiegel(dot)de

Re: please recognize this

So do I have to write in the youtube video description "the font where it says this and this text belongs to this person"? There’s no need to be quite so specific! You just need to state that the font MAASS Slicer 3D is by Peter Wiegel, and provide a link to the licence terms so that visi...

It says “Creative Commons Attribution 3.0”, so you are free to share and adapt the work, but you must give credit to the author, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if any changes were made.

Re: font installs but cant find it or use it

If the name of the font begins with a lowercase letter, check that it isn’t at the bottom of the list. Some programs list uppercase entries first.
