Re: Just Purchased a Personal Font...

Re: Arabic diacritics in wrong positions
Currently there are a couple of features not fully supported as mentioned here:
Unsupported OpenType Layout Features
Maybe your fonts requires one of those.
Can you please send me a font made with Volt which does work so I can find out what goes wrong?

Re: Word Changes a CJK character to Another

I'm glad to know that solved the issue. Unchecking that box solves the problem. Thanks again. You are welcome! I will send yo...

Re: Word Changes a CJK character to Another
I've jst received the font files and have noticed a possibly cause for this issue. Your original font has a specific codepage set, and that one is missing from your latest version. Try to see if this helps: Go to the Font Properties dialog, and select the Ranges tab. codepage1.png Click the Edit but...

Re: Font Groups on 2 computers - Need to import to New compu

You can create a backup through FmsConfig, as available from Windows start menu -> High-Logic MainType First stop the service on the Status tab to enable the backup options: stopfontservice.png Next create the backup: maintypebackup.png Then cop...

The Preview panel only supports pair adjustments, but it looks perfect to me within the OpenType Designer:

As Bhikkhu Pesala pointed out, you will need FontCreator 8 to have advanced kerning support (GPOS pair adjustment and much more).

Re: Corrupt Font Project
It is best to upgrade to version 8, but for existing customers of version 7 we will try to repair the project file. Do send the project file through our ticket system and we'll look into it.
