displaying font in different browsers

I am not sure where to post my question. I do not know whether my problem is caused by my operating system, the browsers I use, or the way I designed my font. On my old computer (Windows XP) I modified a “keystrokes” font. I used this font in an html document, and viewed and printed it using Interne...

Cyrillic cursive

I have used Font Creator home edition v. 5.6. I added glyphs individually and mapped them using a Unicode chart of cyrillic characters. The hardest part was editting a png file, as I am not used to this format. This is not an italic version of cyrillic type. Rather, it aims to be a “copybook”...

Re: Visigothic minuscule

Thanks for your suggestions. I do not think enlarging the originals would have helped in this case, as the images were a reasonable size but contained serious distortions. However, I am enlarging the images before importing them for my current project (the 42-line bible). The MUFI site has been help...

Visigothic minuscule

Visigothic minuscule is my first published font. I used a photo in a book, so the resolution was low and the screening has obscured the outlines. However, this is the first visigothic font that I know of. When I can get hold of a better original, I will issue an update. The visigothic script was a m...

Re: Localizable Sentences Experiment font support

My contribution to the use of “blue”. I am learning Polish and Italian. Both my teachers have explained that in those languages there is no word corresponding to all the meanings of “blue”. In Polish “niebieski” means “light blue”, “granatowy” means “dark blue”. In Italian “azzurro” means “light blu...

Re: PANOSE Your Fonts

I have produced an updated version of my all-on-one-page chart. It is still a work in progress. I have added a few illustrations but most of the changes are tidying/cleaning.

Thanks for the encouragement. I have a revised version at my site now. I have captioned the illustrations of serif style and decorative class as suggested. Wherever possible (except 'weight') I have replaced the bit-mapped illustrations with scalable graphics (ttf of course). Some illustrations are ...

I have made an all-on-one-page illustration of Panose.
It is at my web site: "http://www.hughes-chavez.freeserve.co.uk/"
It borrows illustrations from the posts on this thread. As yet, it is still a work in progress. Criticism welcome.
