Kerning not recognizing all subtables
In my font I have had 7 subtables to correct a font kerning problem in a previous version of FontCreator. I this version of FontCreator it seems that any kerning outside of Subtable 1 is ignored by Word and Gimp and other WP. It shows the kerning fine in OT but once installed, the kerning is ignored...

Re: Site malfunction?
I don't know what "css" cache is, but I cleared my browser cache and came back with no issues.

Site malfunction?
When I signed on for the first time I got this.
Refreshed and back to normal.
Don't know if this is a concern.

Re: Kerning not working in Word preview
That will be a proud moment, an unexpected one, there are so many great fonts out there, it's intimidating. But I'll certainly be bragging if it is accepted! Haha.

For what it's worth the same issue applies to Adobe Illustrator.

Kerning not working in Word preview
I have submitted one of my fonts to My Font review and am afraid it will get rejected because one of their requirements is that my font show up properly in the font selection window. Now I don't know if it's a problem of FontCreator or just Word. As per the pic below you can see that my font's names...

Re: What is the advantage of exporting the "Legacy Kern Table"
Thanks Erwin!
Not exporting to Legacy cuts my font size in half. I won't export to that anymore.
Hope your new creation is selling like hot cakes!
Blessings,
Jonne

Re: What is the advantage of exporting the "Legacy Kern Table"
So would you recommend exporting the font with Legacy enabled just in case? In your professional opinion?

What is the advantage of exporting the "Legacy Kern Table"
I've been exporting all my fonts with "Legacy 'kern' Table enabled but it does make my font larger in size. I'm wondering what exactly is this feature and what does it do...is it necessary?
Thanks,
Jonne

Re: different versions of the same letter
Roger, I started the contextual cursive font as a complete newbie. It won't take you a decade to make. It took about a year to get most of the work done, and about another year to kern everything right. A lot of that was learning how to use CALT features, these forums are very good in support and I ...

Re: different versions of the same letter
Here is a sample of my font. Note that the first 'm' in Lorem followed by an apostophe has a different tail than the Lorem without an apostrophe. This is true for all tails of all letters that precede a symbol.

Re: How to adjust zoom level of glyphs in main window
Yeah, the link to the manual showed me everything.
I can't begin to fathom how much programming goes into this software if such customizations are available if you are knowledgeable. Continually impressed with this program.
Thanks PJ,
Jonne
