It works just fine here.
What version of Windows do you have?
Are you running the latest version of FontCreator (currently 7.0.0.371)?
You could try to remove a glyph and see if the font test starts working again. If not, remove another glyph, etc.

Re: Test window suddenly not working
We've noticed some fonts with complex glyphs fail to export with auto hinting.
Can you try to change the export settings, so auto hinting is off?

Re: FontCreator 7.0 is released!
Earlier today we've uploaded a new maintenance release; fixing a couple of minor issues.
It's recommended for all users to update their FontCreator to this latest version. You can manually check for updates through Help -> Check for updates.

Re: Adding OpenType features: Long GSUB Strings
Excellent. I'm glad it works!
We've thought about automatically setting the export settings to use the custom script as soon as one defines it, but we haven't implemented it yet.

Re: Adding OpenType features: Long GSUB Strings
I just realized the numbers are glyph indexes... It is always best to use glyph names.

Re: Adding OpenType features: Long GSUB Strings
I'm not sure the above script compiles without errors, but still fails to work.
For now use the actual glyph names like:
sub colon colon three four five -> big5;

Re: OpenType liga ligatures and the test window
Set "Include OpenType Features" to "Custom Script" within the "Font Export Settings" dialog. You can reach it through the main menu. File -> Export -> Export Settings. exportcustomscript.png Also see the manual: http://www.high-logic.com/fontcreator/manual7/exportafont....

Re: Glyph Names I can understand
Pretty embarrassing  , but the FontCreator setup installs them in the application folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\High-Logic FontCreator), while FontCreator looks for them in your application data folder: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\FontCreator I will upload a new version later today...

The update is stored in your user temp folder. E.g.

Re: OpenType liga ligatures and the test window
FontCreator just tell Windows to show the web font test page, so I don't know why fails to open in your default browser. You should be able to open the test page in FireFox. You could easily copy and paste the url from IE8 to FireFox. The url will look like this one: C:\Users\EDenissen\AppData\Local...

Re: General Font Metrics
Also be aware WordPad (running Windows 7) seems to use its own defaults, and completely ignores these superscript/subscript metrics values.
