Adding colours to a palette
I am using FontCreator 8 and I am making a colour font. I am getting into a bit of a muddle when trying to add a colour to the palette. I click the + button and sometimes it adds another colour box to palette 1 and sometimes it adds another palette. I click the + button when it appears that I have s...

Re: The Mariposa System
I have got the web page working.
A gentleman who had not got the font installed kindly tested it for me.
I did not need a .woff font.

Re: The Mariposa System
I have a few minutes ago updated the Mariposa font that is available to have the Embedding Licensing Rights as Installable. I am hoping to produce a web page that will use the font and I think that I may need to have the Embedding Licensing Rights as Installable so that Microsoft Edge will allow its...

Hot Peppermint font
In 2003 I published my Hot Beverage font. It was the first font that I ever published. The font only has two two glyphs, a glyph for the then newly-introduced Hot Beverage character and the .notdef glyph. I produced the font using the Softy program. I was unaware of FontCreator at the time. The Hot ...

Opening installed fonts - some of mine are not listed
I am using FontCreator 8.
When I try to open an installed font, fonts that I have made, which are installed, some of them do not show up in the list.
Am I missing doing something when I make the fonts please?

Thank you.

Re: The horizontal bar below the glyph used to position points accurately has disappeared
Thank you for replying.
That does not work here, I get real time validation instead.
I am using FontCreator 8, I should have mentioned that.
I have searched for status bar and can find no reference to it.

The horizontal bar below the glyph used to position points accurately has disappeared
I was making a font, happily using the numbers on the horizontal bar below the glyph to position points accurately. I don't know what I did, but that bar disappeared. How do I get it back please? I tried closing the program and restarting but that did not solve the problem. I tried the Help facility...

Well, is it alright with you that I do what you suggested? I am not one for exploiting loopholes, I will only do it if you are happy for me to do that.
