Re: Transform Wizard Scripts - History

I start all the names with A_<script name> so they all appear at the top of the list and this works quite well but I can see that the sort by date modified might be good if the script is classed as being modified whenever it is loaded. If this is not the case then it would just list them in the orde...

Re: Modifying glyph names

Regular Expressions are very powerful at pattern matching.

This should be well up to any ways you want to modify glyph names.

Pilcrow

Should the Pilcrow (paragraph) sign $B6 be italicised in an italic font ?

Some fonts have it italicised and some don't, which one is correct ?

Re: FontCreator vs FontForge

I sure hope that is not the only reason  Well, no, it's also because you're Dutch, en ik ben ook vanuit Nederland (at least, my parents were) and it is NL where printing with moveable type all began (with my namesake, Meneer LJ Koster, in Haarlem back around 1440). So there's two reasons. ;) ...

Re: A question about a small Euro

I was thinking of assigning it to $E334 in between the small sterling and small yen (although my font doesn't have a small yen) but the worry is that this codepoint has already been assigned to something else in the general conventions which exist for the private use area. Yes. That would be a good...

A question about a small Euro

I am designing a font and wanted to add a few open type features to it. One of them is Petite Caps. I have added the letters and a few symbols. The symbols !$%&() and ? were added at various points in the range $E2B1 to $E2CF with the £ sign at $E333 as this is where they usually appear. So far ...

It isn't free.

It's italic is just an oblique.

Re: Clarendon

I already have Verajja Serif and very nice it is too but it doesn't quite match the style I was wanting for the project I have in mind. I am well on the way to making my own as you might have seen in some of the screen shots I have been posting, this has been my 'beta test' project. It's name is 'Mu...

Clarendon

Does anyone know of a good 'Clarendon' style typeface which is free and has an italic version? I have looked but all the free ones I have found are either not terribly good or don't have an italic or both. Some which I found seemed to think that an oblique version is italic, it isn't ! Of course the...

Emojii are something I do not get excited about, but I thought this was funny.

Re: FontCreator vs FontForge

If you want to see one or two errors try doing a validation check on Times New Roman!
