Shouldn’t the labels for those checkboxes just say ‘Top bearing’ and ‘Bottom bearing’? Since they aren’t on the left or the right, neither of them is really a ‘side’.Erwin Denissen wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 9:42 am You can then show top and bottom bearings:

Re: Struggling with these fonts
A guy who's worked in graphics for 40 years suggested futura extra bold condensed. Good call! However, the numbers and the 'p' don't match. I guess the numbers could be a different printing plate? The /p is clearly from a different font, and the ‘99’ probably comes from that font, but there’s no re...

Re: Struggling with these fonts
The fonts in those images differ in several respects from both Limerick Heavy (B & P Graphics) and Limerick Serial Heavy (SoftMaker). The oval counters of the /p and the /a could be due to the fonts being condensed, but the /c and the /S are markedly different.

You've already voiced your support for @LadyCritique's request for a Notes feature. Isn't this the same thing?

Re: Typekit & Google?
Suitcase Fusion has had Typekit and Google Fonts for years. -Paul Hi. I'm a little curious. When I use Google Fonts I download and make web fonts, then I use them as @fontface fonts. What will be the benefit of having Google Fonts linked to "MainType"? I'm a little curious, too! It's easy...

Re: Getting Fonts Accepted by MyFonts.com
Has anybody in the FontCreator community successfully entered and got accepted by MyFonts.com? I tried like 3 years ago and got rejected for some good reasons. I would love to hear tips about how to get accepted as they seem to be the cream of the crop in terms of font sales. You might want to cons...

Re: WOFF 2.0 support
When working on a full set of fonts I use the Export All option, then delete the WOFF versions if I don't need them. For those fonts that don't need a WOFF version it would be better to disable WOFF export in the Export Settings. I also think None should be the default for new projects as probably ...

Re: WOFF 2.0 support
I'm also thinking about some more improvements with WOFF font files. E.g. only provide one platform for mapping data and naming fields, and always exclude glyph names and also no longer include the legacy kern table. And as Bhikkhu Pesala suggested also leave out the Open Contours option. Those sou...

I don’t think we can solve the mystery unless you’re able to share the font.

Re: Some MTPro V8.0.0.1124 64Bit questions--Glyphs and "Library"
BTW, thanks for introducing me to Typography Insight. Although it’s touted as a learning tool, that custom waterfall feature on its own looks likely to be worth the asking price (even for the slightly more expensive iPad version). I find it quite handy. Yes, it is. If memory serves, it was quite ch...

Was PagePlus already running when you installed the new version of the font? Did you reboot your PC before you installed it?

Re: Restore from minimized to screen
It's not the purposeful closure I care about, it's the accidental closure. Same here. With a font editor or a DTP application you’ll be prompted to save changes if you’re in the middle of doing something when you click on the ‘Close’ X, but MainType isn’t like that, so it’s very easy to close it ac...
