You can move almost all fonts. Windows has a couple of fonts, that must always be available. That's why MainType has defined System Fonts.

I've looked into this issue (I don't own a Mac, but did some Googling) and it looks like FontBook doesn't like fonts with OpenType tables, but without hinting data. The caption bar of the Character grid pane contains a Unicode Block combo box, two buttons to go to the previous or next available Unicode block and a character size combo box. Use the character size combo box to enlarge the cells.

I would suspect the same issue with every font you try to download. Anyway let us know your results. Also you might want to try a different browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox).

One more thing I forgot to ask, do you have Data Execution Prevention (DEP) enabled? It seems protected software might fail to start when DEP is turned on.

I suspect your system doesn't like our protection mechanism. I've sent you a custom release with a more recent version of our protection algorithm. Maybe that solves the issue. Do let me know your results.

apple's FontBook no longer likes the fonts, because - i'm reliably informed - they don't have hinting data I find it hard to believe, FontBook is complaining about the lack of hinting data. That really isn't a requirement, so I suspect it has something to do with other settings. Can you please send...
