Disable Fill works well. Just remember you have to "grab" the guideline outside the glyph to move it.

I was just looking at my predefined kerning files — kern_standard.txt and kern_extended.txt. They date back to 2003. I almost remember there being updates (other than the one offered by Dick Pape in 2010) but can't find them. Perhaps I am confabulating them with composites which I know have been upd...
