I agree, the Italic transform feature should be improved, but we have other important things to implement right now.

The reason why some composites do work, is because you have set them to Auto Attach.

You still select all glyphs, while you should only select Simple glyphs.

Also, in the version 14, in the transform panel, the small arrows up and down were present and very useful, but not in 15. It can no come back, as we now use another edit control which has other features. You can use expressions within the X and Y position fields, which allows to make movement. For...

Please send the font project to us, and clearly explain which glyph (index) you are deleting.

We might need to automatically exclude composite glyph members if all glyphs are selected.

Nothing to worry about. I suspect the latest update we provided was accidentally a debug version.

As Bhikkhu Pesala already indicated, you have to select simple glyphs only. Then the composite glyphs automatically use the slanted base glyphs. Also make sure to unselect "Preserve side bearings".
