I added a period and hyphen to a font. I tried adding the period both as Basic Latin Full Stop, because it appeared other fonts used this for the period, and as General Punctuation One Dot Leader because I could not find anything named Period.
In both cases the space bar adds another period instead of a space. Also the space bar adds a period before and after the hyphen.
What am I doing wrong?

Also why does the PC have to rebooted everytime in order for the font to be recognized?

It looks like you added outlines to the space glyph.

We never have to reboot are PC, so you must be missing something. Please explain how you get to that point.

Also telling us the version of FontCreator you are using might help.

Whatever version you’re using you can test the font in the Font Test window without even installing it.
