Hello!
I am new to FontCreator as well as on this forum. I have tried to understand how FontCreator works but I failed in having the glyphs I am interested to have. Basically, in my language (which is Romanian), there are some combined characters, as “t” with a comma bellow, and “a” with breve above. What I do need is a tutorial that shows me how to edit, save, export and install an already existing font that includes these newly created glyphs. I mention that I succeeded to edit the previously mentioned glyphs, but they won’t appear after validation and installation. So what I need is a a tutorial (is there any on this topic?) and maybe a skilled person to answer to the questions that may arise. Thank you in advance for any help!
From your post you seem to have managed just fine without any tutorial to add the characters with diacritics, and to install the font.
Have you read the FAQ at the top of the Support Forum?
It seems that you are using the unregistered version.
Yes, indeed, it is an unregistered version. In the case that adding characters is not possible in the unregistered version, could I replace some already existing characters with the ones I need? Thank you for your time!
The trial is meant to give you enough confidence the software is worth buying, so for that purpose you could change the outlines of glyphs that represent the characters as mentioned in the FAQ. Such font should not be used and/or published.
