Composite glyphs with base() for LSB/RSB, after made simple, keep base() as value, with a red-circled exclamation mark. Is there a way to deal with that?
You are right, as at that point that expression is no longer valid. But the actual value should still be correct. Would it be better to replace the expression with the actual value on making a glyph simple?
I’d say yes, as the actual value may be of use in various calculations, and since the connection to the parent is broken, keeping the expression instead of value serves no purpose that I can see.
I’ll add this to the wish-list.
I appreciate that, thank you.
Do give this release a try:
That works very well, thanks!
