CAD programmes /Platform manager

I have created a font in FontCreator from some hand-drawn lettering and have put it into a drawing in a basic drawing programme called Turbocad.
It displays and prints from there and is all fine on a PC with Windows XP. However, when I put it into AutoCad 2011 on a PC with windows 7 the font spacing
is changed and it displays at a different size. I am not sure if it is Windows or the AutoCad that is the problem. Can anyone help, please?

Also, could someone explain the platform manager, please - at the moment I have it set to Windows Unicode. What is the Unicode 2.0 and onwards setting for?

I don’t have Turbo CAD to test this. Some screen shots might help.

I don’t worry about the platform manager. FontCreator seems to add platforms automatically if they are needed when I insert characters.

The documentation on Platfrom Manager is not much help here.
