Can composites use mark left-right bearings?

In the composite below, I had hoped the composite would retain the left and right bearings of the enclosure, but it’s using the left and right bearings of the number, so all those composites are overlapping. I assume it’s because the number is the base, and the enclosure is the mark.

Is there a way to make the composite use the left and right bearings of the mark instead of the base?

Edit the Composite Glyph Properties by double-clicking on the composite glyph.

Ah, excellent. Thank you!

I would suggest to use glyph metric expressions. The “use this glyph’s metrics” option will soon become obsolete, and FontCreator will then automatically convert it to expressions.

On a related note, this would be nice! (see the bottom of the screenshot)
