Can't copy glyphs?

Hello
I’m running MainType 10.0.0.1239 (64-bit) and trying to access some Glyphs for a font I just purchased.
The MainType software will not allow me to access and copy a glyph. (Please see screen shot). (I want to use it in another software program such as Word)
Why?

If the glyph has no code-point it cannot be copied to the clipboard as a character.

In OpenType fonts, many glyphs have no mappings, but rely on glyph substitutions to use them in applications that support OpenType features. You can copy it as an image.
