I suspect I’m overlooking something obvious, but I cant seem to figure it out:
If i’m in the browse tab, already within a folder, and I want to change folders, how do I do it? I can’t seem to find a way to browse to a folder that is not in the favorites and not in the back/forward buttons, other than typing in the path manually (not very practical).
Am I missing something, or is there really no way?
I believe the Browse window is just that - a window showing your entire directory structure so you can rollup and down using the slider bar through your “Desktop” structure. Not all folders are expanded so you can stop and click on one to explore further.
Perhaps I didnt explain properly.
Say I am browsing the directory
c:\Documents and settings\user\myfonts
and want to browse
d:\mydirectory\fonts
I cannot see the directory structure that will lead me to the second directory
In fact, I see in some screenshots in the forum that a tree appears in the browse window, however it doesnt appear for me…
Maybe you reduced the Tree pane to nothing. Press Control 1 to return to the default layout. Scroll up to the top of the Tree pane to find My Computer.
