Characters automatically to the same baseline

Hi,

i recently do my first steps with Font Creator and have a few questions. When I am importing from scanahand, they often have different heights and do not sit on the same baseline.

Is there a possibility to move all the characters automatically to the same baseline?

In the Pro Edition it is possible to move all selected glyphs by the same distance using the Transformation Wizard, but I suspect that each glyph will require a different movement if they were drawn by hand on a template.

Select all of the contours in each glyph and use the cursor keys to move the glyph to the baseline by eye. Shift + cursor moves by 100 funits, Ctrl + cursor moves by 1 funit, cursor keys alone move by 10 funits.

Note that letters with curved bases like C, O, Q, S, will need to overlap the baseline by 20-50 funits to align letters optically. Only letters that have a perfectly horizontal base, should sit exactly on the baseline.
