ClearType and pixel fonts

Hi! I’m using Font Creator to make a pixel font. I’m using Windows Vista Ultimate x64. When I test my font using the Test Font tool, it seems to add this horizontal anti-aliasing/smoothing to the letters:

Obviously, that’s not what I want. However, seeing as I disabled Grayscale and used exact 128px units for each pixel, I decided to disable ClearType in Windows using the control panel, to see if that would solve the problem, and it did:

The problem is, though, that in its current state my font users would have to disable ClearType if they use it, everytime they are using my font. It’s very important that the font looks pixelated. I’ve noticed that some system fonts in Windows seem to produce non-smoothed letters even with ClearType enabled, and so that’s what I want for my font as well.

The settings for my font are the same as the ones used in this guide I found: http://www.iamcal.com/misc/fonts/pixfonttut/part1.php

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Can you upload a sample font, or send me your original font so I can look at it?

Well it’s not done yet. All I did was choose New Font and draw the A and B, and they came out like this.

Do let me know when you’re ready for me to help you find the problem.
