[CLOSED] Complete Composites does not work in stylistic sets

My problem is if I have a character from a stylistic sets and I want to make composite automatic from that sometimes does not work. This function works if none of the characters came from stylistic sets.

Not a bug. The Complete Composites feature is not designed to work with Stylistic Sets.

Why? I have many examples in my project files when complete composite make its works well in my stylistic sets. Complete composite is function that have to make composites.

There is no definition in the CompositsData.xml for Stylistic Sets.

Try Anchor-based composition, or Auto.

Complete Composites using CompositeData.xml is designed to compose DZ, L middle dot, etc., but not for Stylistic Sets. You could edit the file to add your own data for that if Anchor-based composition fails.

Anchor-based composition is not designed to work for L middle dot, as Erwin stated elsewhere.

There are several approaches, but most convenient is probably to provide a custom formula like:
L.ss03+periodcentered

Then either move the periodcentered to the correct position, or use AutoAttach in case you also have set an anchor like Volat.

Also worth reading is this tutorial about Catalan Punt Volat.

My feedback: I am very disappointed.

I want to understand this.

The complete composite feature does not support all characters, so you have to compose them yourself.

If more people request a specific set of characters, we will consider adding them.

For now you can use insert glyphs to add composed glyphs:

dz.ss03 = d.ss03+z.ss03
zcaron.ss03 = z.ss03+caroncomb
dzcaron.ss03 = d.ss03+zcaron.ss03
etc

Just make sure you have disabled ranges.

Sorry I haven’t understand how to solve my problem. Your answers is too short and futile for me. I need a step by step instructions.

Do you what is UI and UX? UX is one the most important thing. I want to make things simple. For an ordinary user simple thing is the best. In my opnion make composite with auto mode is the simplest way. Your software is good but could be much better if you make improvements before the user misses or complaining about them.
