If you have the settings fly out (F4) open and you leave the program to go to another program, when you come back all the settings have been lost.
Not normally reproducible here, but this will happen if you change some glyph properties, then switch to another program, e.g. Calculator, without clicking on Apply.
No a bug IMO, it is just how the dialogue works. What is more disconcerting is that the dialogue disappears from view when switching to calculator.
