The Help for FontCreator 11.5 still shows “Paste Special,” as the command for Ctrl+E.
It should show “Export Settings.” Shortcut Ctrl+Alt+V = “Paste Special.”

We’ve fixed this, so it will come available when we release a new version with the updated manual.
I suppose that there are still some who are using Font Creator 11.5.
The manual still gives the shortcut Ctrl+E as Paste Special.
The manuals for FontCreator 12 and 13 have been updated. Was the shortcut ever changed in FontCreator 11.5 or only in later versions?
I have no idea. Too long ago to remember, and not worth it to investigate.
I can save you the trouble. Ctrl+E opens the Export Settings dialog in FontCreator 11.5. I did not realise that I still have it installed to help users of old versions. Two years is not old for software; it was last updated less than two years ago.
FontCreator 11.5.0.2430 [December 5, 2018]
You are right, the software is not old. I just prefer to focus on the latest release. I understand we must continue to support older versions at some degree though.
