I’m currently trying to expand a font with diacritics, but when I paste a glyph in from another font, the code points remain blank and I have to click the wizard for each glyph to retrieve them. This has changed - I used to be able to copy and paste and all code points were automatically inserted. Is anyone else seeing this problem?
Actually, the problem is more fundamental. When I try and copy and paste within the font, instead of just the glyph image itself being pasted over the glyph, it is clearing all of the glyph data. So, for example I am trying to copy a ‘U’ onto a ‘U’ diaresis and the glyph name is changing to U.001. It never used to do this - it just pasted the image.
Use Paste Special from the Edit menu, and choose which parameters you wish to copy/replace.
That’s not working for me. Code point options are being ignored on paste special.

Thanks Erwin. Hopefully you will also resolve the standard paste function as well so that it just pastes the glyph image data and leaves all other information alone?
Hi Erwin,
I’m sorry but, in the latest update, code points are still not coming over when a character is pasted. See attached. I copied n tilde from another font and the code point box is blank. I have to click the wizard icon to add them.
As mentioned, we will fix this with the next upcoming release.
Sorry, we had an update yesterday and thought that was when it was going to be fixed.
